Marjorie Hinds Obituary

Marjorie J. (Clifton) Hinds, 94, formerly of Chatsworth, California, died Monday, July 16, 2018 at the Providence Care Center in Sandusky.

She was born December 26, 1923 in Toledo to Percy Fredrick and Stella A. (Young) Clifton. She graduated from Waite High School. Marjorie loved the social life of big cities, and moved to Washington D.C. to begin her career as an executive secretary. Her work took her to Florida and later to California, where she made her home for many years.

Marjorie is survived by her sister, K. Elaine Balogh of rural Clyde and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Hinds; and her siblings, Dorothy Horen and Herbert Francis Clifton.

Private family services will be held. Mrs. Hinds will be buried by her husband, Don, in California.

Memorials may be given to Stein Hospice or Providence Care Center in Sandusky.
