Marjorie M. "Pudge" Jones, 99, of Bellevue died at her home on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.
Marjorie was born in Castalia on November 8, 1919 to Edgar and Cora (Adams) Kelly.
She began her education at York Schools, however she graduated from Bellevue High School 1939.
Mrs. Jones was a lifetime member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Bellevue, where she had been active throughout her life. She was also a member of York Grange.
Marjorie was a farmer and very proud of her vocation. She was the owner of Patten's Planation for many years.
Survivors include a son, Lee (Jackie) Patten of Bellevue and daughter Beth Bailey of Bellevue. Eleven grandchildren, Norman Hanna; Heather Hanna; Lorie Patten; Amy Patten; Lisa Meyer; Robin Patten Krysti Martinez; Jennifer Patten; Amy Patten; Matt Patten and Casey Bailey, along with eight great grandchildren also survive.
Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Norman Patten, who preceded her in 1964; her second husband, Emory "Gail" Jones, who preceded her in 1990. Also her daughter, Cathy Hanna; and sons Ted Patten and Mark Patten. Her siblings, Boyd "Mitt" Kelly; Florence "Toots" Mitchell and Frances "Kick" Adams are also deceased.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 10:00 am until the service at noon at St. Paul United Church of Christ, Kilbourne Street, Bellevue. Rev. Dr. Diane Carter will officiate, with burial in Bishop Siebert/Flat Rock Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul UCC or Promedica Hospice.
