Markus A. Doss

Markus A. Doss, 24, died Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.

He was born January 24, 1995 in Tiffin to Dale A. Doss and Lisa (Hildebrandt) Ferguson.  Markus graduated from the School of Hope in Fremont.  He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bellevue.  Markus loved to hear the organ playing the bright, uplifting music during Advent and Christmas.  He also enjoyed everything Ohio State Buckeyes.

Markus is survived by his parents: Lisa (Christopher A.) Ferguson of Bellevue and Dale Doss of Escanaba, Michigan; his grandmother, Carol Hildebrandt of Bellevue; siblings: AnnaMarie, A.J., Ryan, Dalton, Nikita, Skylynn, Teresa, Dayle, Troy, Samantha.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Paul “Tiny” Hildebrandt; Louie & Judy Stockdale; uncles: Alan Schwochow and Lonnie Doss; and great-grandfather, Eric Schwochow. 

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia Street, Bellevue.  His funeral will be 10:00am Thursday, October 24 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 209 Southwest Street, Bellevue.  Rev. Mark Bogen will officiate and burial will follow in York Chapel Cemetery.
