Matthew Walter Turner, 47, of Green Springs, died at the Firelands Regional Medical Center on Thursday, November 14, 2019.

Matthew was born in Carbondale, Pennsylvania on January 31, 1972 to Robert and Beatrix (Quick) Turner.

He was a construction worker. Formerly, he had served on the Green Springs Fire Department and had been an EMT.

Survivors include his mother, his son, Shane Matthew Turner; companion, Shelly Roscioli and his siblings, Robert Turner, Jr.; Andrew Turner; Mary Piragas all of Pennsylvania; Catherine Payne of Nevada; Gail Scheller of North Carolina and Amanda Byley of Nevada.

Family services will be held.
