Maxine E. Schwochow, 94, of Clyde, died at The Willows of Bellevue on Tuesday, December 5, 2017.

Maxine was born in Sandusky on November 4, 1923 to the now deceased Andrew C. and Alma C. (Quirin) Scott. She attended Sandusky High School where she had been a member of the drum and bugle corps..

Mrs. Schwochow was a member of AmVets Auxiliary in Sandusky; the Sandusky American Legion Auxiliary; the Clyde MOOSE and Eagles and the Clyde VFW.

She married John Bango in 1942, he was killed in WWII in Germany in 1945. She married Raymond Corbin in 1947, he preceded her inn July 1967. In 1971, she married Wayne Schwochow, and he died in July of 1975.

Surviving are six children, Ronald D. (Joan) Bango of Sandusky; Robert E. Bango of Clyde; Raymond L. Corbin of Sandusky ; Gladys Taber of Clyde; William (Vickie) Corbin of Vickery and Lucretia (Richard) Moore of Bellevue, also her daughter-I-n-law, Betty Bango of Clyde. Sixteen grandchildren, Three step grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren also survive.

Maxine was preceded in death by two sons, John "Jack" Bango and Chester Corbin. Also her siblings, Alice Riesterer; Ruth Kollman; Evelyn Jean Raab and William Scott are deceased.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 AM at Venice Road Baptist Church on Saturday, December 9, 2017 with burial in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky to follow at 11:00 AM. Her son, Pastor William Corbin will officiate.
