Norma M. (Mullett) VanDemark

Norma M. VanDemark, age 89, of Bellevue passed away on January 7, 2019 at Salida Woods in Mentor, Ohio. 

Mrs. VanDemark was born in Putnam County on July 31, 1929 to Carl and Mabel (Michael) Mullett.  She graduated from Continental School in 1948, and worked as an assembler at G.E. 

She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bellevue.  She was also a member of the Four County Young at Heart and NARVRE. 

On June 17, 1950 Norma married Richard VanDemark, and he preceded her in death on May 15, 1987. 

Mrs. VanDemark is survived by her two sons, Ronald (Cheryl) VanDemark of Mentor, and David VanDemark of Clyde, and one grandson, Craig VanDemark of Mentor.  Three step-granddaughters; Michele Smith, Dorothy Kauble, and Kimberly (Todd) Glazebrook, seven step-great-grandchildren; Elizabeth (Joe) Ihnat, Andrea Kauble, Autumn (Zachary) Walter, Bradford Smith, Britanny Glazebrook, Amber Glazebrook, and Aryn Kauble-Miller, and one step-great-great-grandson; Evan Ihnat survive.  Her Brother Kenneth (Norma) Mullett of Continental, Ohio, and nieces, Tina and Kathy survive as well.  Along with her parents and husband, Norma was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Linda. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with a memorial service at 11:00.  Burial will follow at a future date. 

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
