Patrick K. Smith

Patrick K. Smith, 63 of Clyde, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at the Bellevue Hospital. 

 

He was born February 5, 1954 in Bellevue to Sarah C. (Disandis) and Cletus B. Smith.  He attended St. Mary's Catholic Schools in Clyde and graduated from Clyde High School and Vanguard Vocational School in Food Service.  Pat began his food service career in the US Navy and continued upon his return from the service.  He then worked for the railroad as a cook and then was the cook at the Clyde Moose.  He retired from Arbors Nursing Home where he was the Activities Director.  Pat was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Clyde.

 

Pat is survived by his daughters:  Kelly (Joe) Pearson of Clyde and Angela (Joshua) Harris of Clyde; grandchildren: Cadee Estep; Christopher Steele Jr; Allison Harris; Veronica Harris; and his siblings: Michael A. Smith of Fremont; Dr. Mark R. (Jennifer) Smith of Bellevue; Stephanie (Mick) Goodman of Kansas City, Missouri; and Sandra Smith of Clyde.

 

Visitation will be 6-8:00pm Thursday, February 8, 2018 at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 218 South Main St, Clyde and again Friday morning from 9:30-10:15am at the funeral home.  His funeral mass will be 10:30am Friday, February 9 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 615 Vine St, Clyde with Rev. Ted Miller officiating.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels of Sandusky County.
