Philip Schwochow Obituary

Philip Arthur Schwochow, 66, of rural Fremont, died unexpectedly at Toledo Hospital on Sunday, March 24, 2019.

Phil was born in Fremont on March 27, 1952 to William and Ruth (Gallagher) Schwochow. He was a 1970 graduate of Fremont Ross High School, and in 1974 graduated from Heidelberg College.

Mr. Schwochow was a member of Sandusky County Historical Society.

His brother, Gary Schwochow survives in Fremont. An uncle, Robert Gallagher in Clyde and an aunt, Pearl Schwochow also of Clyde.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 28, 2019 from 4-6:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Friday, March 29, 2019 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Henry Seibert officiating. Burial will be McPherson Cemetery.
