I was sad to hear the news of Bob's passing. The house he built in Monroeville was on the farm where my sister, brother, and I grew up. When my sister and I built a new house next to his, he was able to come to the open house.
We had spoken on the phone recently, and he sounded good. He had a great speaking voice, and I always loved talking with him.

Please accept our condolences on the passing of Bob. He was always a kind and caring man. Many years ago, Tom worked with Bob at the Union Bank.

Rod and I will miss Bob visiting with us and sharing his newspaper with Rod.
Rod is at the Willows and is across the hall from Bob's room there. Rod came to the Willows inJuly of this year and Bob always took time to visit with him.
