Robert A. Gallagher

Robert A. Gallagher, 87 of rural Clyde, died at Valleyview Health Care Center, Fremont, on Sunday, December 8, 2019.

Bob was born in Sandusky County on November 9, 1932 to George Ross and Rachel (Krauss) Gallagher.

He graduated from Clyde High School. Then joined his father in farming and never left. Bob was a lifelong farmer.

On January 29, 1961, he married Wanda Slessman. She preceded him in death on June 7, 2014.

His nephew, Gary Schwochow of Fremont and his brother-in-law, Robert Slessman of Attica survive.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Ruth Schwochow and Helen Jean Gallagher and nephew, Philip Schwochow.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 from 4-6:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde. The funeral will be on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 10: 30 am the funeral homeith Rev. Henry Seibert officiating. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.
