Thomas D. Auxter

Thomas D. Auxter, age 74, of Lindsey, Ohio passed away peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on Friday, January 26, 2018.

Thomas was born on December 21, 1943, son of Robert and Vanda Auxter.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia K. Auxter. Tom and Cyndi were married on October 16, 1976 and were blessed to have 41 beautiful years together enjoying life, family and friends.

In addition to being a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, Tom enjoyed hunting, boating and his many years of being a pilot.

Tom graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1961 and immediately began his career in the Electrical Industry. He was Vice-President of Romanoff Electric for 17 years and a past partner of Valley Electric. Tom was a retired lifetime member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and had many other accomplishments and awards as an Electrical Contractor.

Tom was a great man and always believed in honesty and doing the right thing. He was a prince and a fighter and he always knew that his songs of pain and beauty in this world filled many people with the incredible joy he felt for life.

Funeral services for friends and family celebrating Tom's life will be held at Grace Lutheran Church, Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 am

Memorials, if desired, may be given to Grace Lutheran Church or the hospice of your choice.
