Trumon Ratliff

Trumon Ratliff, 84, of Fremont, died at the Heritage Village of Clyde on Friday, October 19, 2018.

Trumon  was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on March 19, 1934 to Burley and Gracy Ratliff.

Mr. Ratliff was a member of First Brethren Church, Fremont. He had retired in 1994, after 44 years at Whirlpool Corp in Clyde.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War.

On July 11, 1955, he married Dorothy Friend in Angola, Indiana. She preceded him in death on December 17, 2013.

Surviving are sons, Donald Ratliff and Ronald (Joyce) Ratliff all of Fremont. Four grandchildren, Michele Seaman; Ronald Dean Trumon Ratliff; Kursten Martin and Jacob Ratliff, along with five great grandchildren survive. One sister, Zadie Fitch lives in  Leetonia, Ohio.

Trumon was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carmel Sue Pitts.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from Noon until the service at 1:00 PM at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio.  Pastor Ed Miller will officiate with burial in West Union Cemetery.
