Veda Smith Obituary

Veda E. Smith, 101, formerly of Bellevue, Ohio died at The Gardens of Clyde on Saturday, June 2, 2018.

Veda was born in Hudson, Michigan on March 18, 1917 to Harold M. and Julia A. (Gardner) Smith. She was a1935 graduate of Hudson High School and then the Riggs Beauty School in Hillsdale, Michigan. In 1939 She moved to Bellevue.

She married Don L. Smith on August 3, 1939. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1995.

Mrs. Smith had worked for the Bellevue Board of Education as a cook for nineteen years.

Surviving is a daughter, Mary Thomas of Clyde and three grandchildren.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in by her parents, her husband and son, Douglas Smith.

There will be no services.

Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
