Verlie J. Hall, 95, of Clyde, died at the Rutherford House in Fremont on Wednesday, August 28,2019.
Mrs. Hall was born in Floyd County, Kentucky on February 8, 1924, one of eleven children of Charlie and Melinda (Vance) Jones. She was the last of her generation.
Verlie graduated in 1945 from Betsy Lane High School in Floyd County.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Clyde.
For 12 years, she worked at the former General Electric in Bellevue.
On May 23, 1945, she married Raymond Cecil Hall. He preceded her in May of 1991.
Survivors include one daughter, Wyvonnie (Carl) Maines of Clyde; two sons, Elster Ronnie (Teresa) Hall of Clyde and Lester C. (Sue) Hall of Bonner's Ferry, Idaho. Eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren also survive.
Her daughter, Kimberly Hall-Barrett preceded her in death, along with a grandson, Eric Hall.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 2-5:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at 11:00 am at Calvary Baptist Church, Duane St., Clyde with Pastor Junior Kerns officiating. Burial will be on Thursday in Hall (WJ) Cemetery, Floyd County, Kentucky.
