Obituary
Amanda Jean Binder, 28 of Fremont, died at her home on Sunday, July 2, 2023.
Amanda was born in Sandusky on October 2, 1994. She was a 2013 graduate of St. Joseph Catholic High School in Fremont and then continued her education at Hilbert College in New York, graduating in 2017 with a Forensic Science degree.
She loved sports, playing volleyball at Hilbert, and animals.
Survivors include her mother, Naquel (Ed) Holbrook of Fremont and her father, Troy (Sonya) Binder of Gibsonburg. Also, her brother, Tyler Binder, serving with the US Marines; grandparents, Donna and Gary Morykwas of Fremont and Larry and Jan Schenk of Clyde. Aunt and uncles, Janean (Scott) Rudolph; Jason (Michelle) Schenk and Chris (Rebecca) Binder, and step aunts and uncle, Denise (John) Kiser, Gloria Keegan, Elizabeth (Lee) Tinkle and Jeff (Jennifer) Keegan survive as well. Six cousins are among her survivors.
Amanda was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Barb and David Binder.
Private services will be held.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Sandusky County.
