Awanda "Wanda" Downing Obituary

Awanda "Wanda" M. Downing, 70, of Green Springs, died at her home on Sunday, November 29, 2020 after failing health.

Wanda was born on August 8, 1950.

She attended Margaretta schools and had been a member of Victory Christian Fellowship.

She enjoyed reading, puzzles, gardening, fishing and playing cards. Her very favorite activity was cooking for her family and being with her children and grandchildren.

Wanda had worked at Whirlpool Corp prior to her retirement.

Survivors include her three children, Dean (Heather) Downing of Cincinnati; Amy (Ronnie) Morton of Fremont and DeAnna (James) Evans of Bellevue. Six grandsons, Zachary Downing; Bobby Downing; Darrius Morton; Eriq Morton; Isaac Downing and Aaron Evans. Her fiance' Mike Brown also survives. Her siblings, Buddy Laughlin of Clyde; Barb Rumschleg of Tiffin; sue Dornquast of Fremont; Patricia Toller of Clyde and Michael Ball of Clyde, survive as well.

She was preceded by a sister, Ellen Siebel and a brother John Chase.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.
