Barbara L. (Fought) Laviola

Barbara L. (Fought) Laviola, 86, of Gallatin, Tennessee, formerly of Bellevue, died Saturday, September 24, 2022 in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

She was born April 22, 1936 in Fremont to Horatio and Amy (Gittenger) Fought.  She graduated from Fremont Ross High School.  Barb enjoyed reading, baking, and coloring, but especially spending time with her family.  She enjoyed traveling on cruises with her children and grandchildren.  Twelve years ago, Barb moved to Tennessee from Bellevue.

On October 1, 1955 she married Domenic J. Laviola.  He preceded her in death on February 17, 2009.  Together, they owned the Pizza Wheel in Bellevue, for 29 years.

She is survived by children: Donna Cerulli of Gallatin, Tennessee; Daniel Laviola of Hendersonville, Tennessee; Steven (Sharon) Laviola of Gallatin, Tennessee; grandchildren: Nicole (Zack) Jones of Gallatin; Ryan Cerulli of Gallatin; Rachael Laviola of Hendersonville; Michelle (Travis) Patterson of Gallatin; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 10:00-Noon Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at the Auxter Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue.  Her funeral service will begin at Noon on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Bellevue St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
