Beverly L. (Schlosser) McElfresh

Beverly L. McElfresh,92, of Clyde, died at The Clyde Gardens on Saturday, September 18, 2021.

Mrs. McElresh was born in Guernsey County, Ohio on October 24, 1928 to Mamie Louise (Clark) and Frederick Schlosser.

She graduated from Otsego High School in 1947, 

On June 23, 1947, she married Ned McElfresh. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1975.

Mrs. McElresh had worked at the former GE in Bellevue; Eaton Control in Fremont, Alberts Grocery in Fremont; and Latham's Super Value in Clyde, prior to working at Kroger, where she retired.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Clyde.

Surviving are two daughters, Judy (Ron) Stiltner and Emily Gay Berry all of Clyde. Nine grandchildren, Jeffrey Richie; Jason Richie; Jill Hershey; Justin Stilitner; Jaret Stiltner; Christopher Rohrbacher; Ned Michael McElfresh; Cory Lachner and Nicholas Mominee, along with 26 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild survive also.

Beverly was preceded in death by a son, John McElfresh in 1991; a daughter, Teresa Mominee in 2011; her parents and siblings, Fred, Willard, Kenneth and Larry Schlosser, Marilyn Eltringham; Patty Kramer; Carol Mitchell and Crystal Bowman.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
