Bobby J. Morrison, 82, of Clyde, died Monday, August 15, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 5, 1940 in Camden on Gauley, West Virginia to Frank William Morrison & Ova C. Nicholas Morrison. Bob graduated from Cowen High School in 1961. He was a member of Fremont Church of the Nazarene. Having many talents and always being handy, Bob worked various jobs and trades throughout his life. The majority of his career was spent at Uniroyal in Port Clinton. He also had his own painting business and served as a Scout Master. Later in life, Bob enjoyed working security for The Shores in Port Clinton. Bob also had a helping heart, and enjoyed teaching CPR and First Aid through the Ottawa County Red Cross. He also served as a Bay Township fireman & EMT and as an auxiliary officer for the Port Clinton Police Department.
On April 20, 2001 he married Susan (Hendricks) and she survives in Clyde. Also surviving are his children: Cathy (Tim) Smith of Port Clinton and Robert (Jennifer) Morrison of Fremont; step-children: Eric Williams and Amie (Paul) Storey, all of Clyde; grandchildren: Tabitha (Matt) Culbertson; Zachary Smith; Bethany (Ed) Cleveland; Adam (Ruby) Morrison; step-grandchildren: Jordan Chagnon; Amber (Matt) Warner; Katie Storey; Paul Jr. (Leah) Storey; eleven great-grandchildren; and his brother, Willard "Gene" (Kay) Morrison of Racine, West Virginia.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers.
Visitation will be 10:00am-Noon Saturday, August 20, 2022 at the Fremont Church of the Nazarene, 1925 N. Fifth St, Fremont. His funeral service will begin at Noon on Saturday at the church with Rev. Claude Nicholas officiating. Private burial will be in McPherson Cemetery. Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde is assisting the family with arrangements.
