Carmen Hofelich Brown, 103, of Clyde, died at The Gardens of Clyde on Friday, April 16, 2021.
Mrs. Brown was born in Bellevue on March 12,1918.
She was a member of the 1934 graduating class of Bellevue High School.
Formerly she had worked at General Electric in Bellevue, for the State of Ohio at the Green Springs tree and nursery and finally at Friendship Sunoco.
On August 12, 1946, she married George Hofelich. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1991. She then married Fred Brown on May 15, 1993, he preceded her on December 13, 2020.
Also deceased, are her two children, Barbara Arseneault and Ronald Hoffelich, along with her parents. Anthony and Mary (Barbara) Santoro and a great grandson. Her siblings, Sarah, Theresa; Josie; Rose; Russell; Frank; Charlie; Tony and Carl are all deceased.
Survivors include grandchildren, Carmen Green; Scott Arseneault, Shari Smith and Christina Wearne. Seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren also survive. Numerous nieces and nephews survive as well.
Her funeral mass will be on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
