Obituary

Carol A. Keegan, 82, of Vickery, died Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at her home.

She was born in Sandusky on August 24, 1940 to Eugene & Evelyn Meyers.  Carol graduated from Townsend High School.  She was the quintessential farmer's wife - she enjoyed cleaning (especially ironing!), cooking, and taking care of her family.  

Survivors include her husband, Clayton E. Keegan, Sr of Vickery; sons: Clayton Jr (Cathy) Keegan of Clyde and Chris (Tracy) Keegan of Vickery; grandchildren: Meredith Keegan; Sarah (Trev) Hughes; and Jacob Keegan; and her sister, Charlene Brown.

Carol was preceded by her parents, and her siblings: Nancy Dise and Larry "Buddy" Meyers.

Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Friday, May 5, 2023 at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 S. Main St, Clyde.  Her funeral service will be 10:30am Saturday, May 6 at the funeral home with Rev. Katie Suggitt officiating.  Burial will follow in Castalia Cemetery.  

Memorials may be given to the Townsend Fire Department.
