Charley R. Arnett, 66, of Bellevue, died Friday, August 20, 2021 at his home.
He was born May 31, 1955 in Salyersville, Kentucky. He attended Norwalk schools and worked for CertainTeed in Milan for 42 years, until his retirement. In his spare time, Charley loved to go fishing. He was often found fishing at the Norwalk Reservoir.
Charley is survived by his children: Nathan Arnett of Port Clinton; Shasta (Anthony) Diamond of Sandusky; and Anthony Arnett of Norwalk; grandchildren: Jocelyn & Jailyn Arnett; Somyah & Anthony Diamond; Emmie & Parker Arnett; his sisters: Lisa (Martin) Oney of Norwalk; Michelle Clark of Monroeville; and his little angel, Dawn Oney (Dustin Kidd) of Norwalk.
Charley was preceded in death by his parents, Lester & Martha (Rowe) Moore; his brother, James Arnett; and his brother-in-law, Gary Clark.
Visitation will be 4:00-8:00pm Monday, August 23, 2021 at the Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue. His funeral service will be 10:30am Tuesday, August 24 at the funeral home with Pastor Rob Duncan officiting. Burial will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the City of Norwalk Parks Department, to be used to stock the reservoirs for fishing.
