Corrine L. (Martin) Condon

Corrine L. Condon, 81 of Fremont, died at the Toledo Hospital on Tuesday, August 15, 2023.

Corrine was born in Fremont on September 1, 1941 to the now deceased Daisy (Gautz) and Argel Martin. She attended Fremont schools.

A member of New Life Community Church, Mrs. Condon had a zeal for life! She had enjoyed crocheting, Bingo, Gospel music and especially Karaoke.

For her adult life, she had worked with her husband in his body shop and later in construction businesses. She was his “right hand lady”.

On October 27, 1962, she married Walter D. Condon. He survives, as do four children, Walter, Jr, (Joanna) Condon of Beechgrove, Tennessess; Charlotte (David) Collins of Smyrna, Tennessee; David M. (Lisa, his fiancé;) Condon of Tullahoma, Tennessee and Danny (Tamm) Condon of Tullahoma, Tennessee. Also, eight grandchildren, Maneshia, Breeanna, Cody, Dustin, Felicia, Seth; Amanda and Donna survive, along with 25 great grandchildren. Her siblings, Cindy Ruiz of Fremont, Janet Twigg of Bettsville; Dale Martin, Cecilia Slane and Scott Slane all of Fremont survive.

Mrs. Condon was preceded in death by her son, Fred Condon in 1986 and brothers, Joseph Martin, Gary Lee Martin and Michael Wayne Martin, an infant and her infant sister, Delia Martin.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 4:00 -8:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 10:30 am with Rev. Dan Ritter officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
