Cory M. Corbin

Cory M. Corbin, 32, of Clyde, died on Monday, March 20, 2023, as a result of an accident on US 20 in Clyde.

Cory was born in Bellevue on December 5, 1990 to Connie Leers and James Corbin. 

He was a 2008 graduate of Clyde High School and had been self-employed as a roofer.

Cory liked to canoe, go camping and ride motorcycles.

He is survived by his mother, Connie Wentz of Clyde, sisters, Jennifer (Jerome) Carter of Fremont and Tabetha (Ronnie) Yates of Warrenton, Oregon and one brother, Jason Mathis of Clyde. Four aunts survive, Michelle (Danny) Williams of Clyde, Alice Leers of Toledo, Martha (Bruce) Held of Clyde and Nancy (Andy) Screptock of Toledo along with an uncle, Alan (Derinda) Leers of Florida. Also nieces and nephews, Adrienne Jaso, Austin Carter, Deisel, Renna, Ronni Chapman, and Mason Mathis and one great nephew, Canelo Jaso survive. His maternal cousins that survive are Sammy, Samantha, Daniall, Danna, Joey, Mitchell, Wesley and Dana.

Cory was preceded in death by his father, James Corbin, step-father, Ron Wentz and nephew, Dawson. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 4:00 pm-5:30 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The service will begin at 5:30 pm. Following the service a time for sharing memories will be held at the Clyde VFW on Maple Street, with a light luncheon at the VFW .
