D. Juanita Burr, 92, of Clyde, died at her home on Monday, August 30, 2021, with her family by her side.
Juanita was born in Connersville, Indiana on March 22, 1929 to Ruth Mahala (Bolton) and Thomas Glenn Jackson. She moved to Clyde in 1935.
She was a member of the Nazarene Church in Clyde. She had volunteered for the Bloodmobile and a teacher of first aid for the American Heart and American Red Cross. Juanita had also been a volunteer for the Sandusky County EMS - EMT.
On May 17, 1949, she married Robert E. Burr. He preceded her June 29, 2002.
She is survived by a son, Robert J. (Norma) Burr of Pfafftown, NC. Four grandchildren, Michele Lynn Hammel; Misty Rose Burr; Amanda Burr and Ava Burr, along with half siblings, Larry Wayne Jackson of Indiana and Carolyn Sue (Robert) Keys of North Vernon, Indiana also survive. Her daughter in-law, Vicki Burr and four great grandchildren survive as well.
Mrs. Burr was preceded in death by a son, David A. Burr I; a grandson, David II; and siblings, Charles Franklin Cable; Leslie Clayton Jackson; Ronald Keith Jackson; Harold Jackson; Robert E. Jackson and Margaret Louise Yates.
Services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm at McPherson Cemetery.
