David Burr II Obituary

David Allen Burr II, age 43, died early Tuesday morning, January 29, 2019, from a heart attack following a motor vehicle accident in Michigan.

He was born in Sandusky, Ohio on June 9, 1975 to the late David Burr I and Deborah (Vollmer) Beard. He resided in Clyde, Ohio.

On October 17, 2008, he married Millie Hinkle. She survives in Clyde.

Dave is also survived by his three children, David Burr III of Fremont; Samantha Hinkle and Ava Burr of Clyde. One grandchild, Karlie Rollins of Fremont. Step children, Cassandra and Ashley Cheek both of Fremont and Michael Cheek of Bay View, Ohio. His mother and step-father Deb and Charlie Beard of Clyde; paternal grandmother, Juanita Burr of Clyde and father-in-law, Smith Hinkle also of Clyde survive as well. Dave's siblings include Amanda (Milton) Williamson of Arlington, Tennessee; Savannah Beard of Clyde; Charles (Jessica) Beard III of Phoenix, Arizona; Kimberly Beard of Fremont and Michelle Flores in Ohio and brothers-in-law, William (Sue) Hinkle of Florence, Kentucky and Joseph Hinkle of Clyde are among the survivors.

His special friends, Dusty and Terri Noftz of Fremont and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and cousin, are also left to cherish his memory.

Dave had many hobbies, including riding his Harley, hunting, reading and working on vehicles. He was a member of the NRA.

Dave was employed and drove for Pitt Ohio out of the Toledo terminal.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Carol Vollmer and Corrine (de Voo van Uyen) Smith; paternal grandfather, Robert Burr, Sr, ;uncle Carol Vollmer and his mother-in-law, June (Chafin) Hinkle.

Friends may call from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Saturday with Mr. Smith HInkle officiating.
