David P. Roach

David P. Roach, 70, of Bellevue died unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Promedica Hospital in Toledo.   

David was born in Bellevue on November 13, 1952 to the now deceased Eleanor (Patterson) and Edward Roach.

He was a 1971 graduate of Bellevue High School and retired in 2013 after forty two years with the Norfolk Southern railroad as an engineer. 

David was raised as a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Engineers Local –BLE. His hobbies included racing his 2010 Camero, boating, and fishing.

On March 20, 1976, he married Beverly D. Dennis. She, along with their daughter, Kelly Roach survive in Bellevue. 

A sister, Phyllis Morris of Bellevue, along with Beverly’s siblings, Roger Dennis of North Ridgeville and Jeanne (Stanley) Pugh of Bellevue also survive. Also, numerous nieces and nephews survive as well.

David was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia (Jim) Overton.

Visitation will be on Sunday, May 7.2023 from 2:00 pm -4:00 pm at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio. The funeral will be on Monday, May 8, 2023 at 10:30 am, with visitation one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home with Rev. Dr. Diane Carter officiating. Burial will be in York Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul UCC or Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Cincinnati.
