Delores Imogene (Padgett) Moore

Delores Imogene Moore, 87, was surrounded by her family, when she peacefully passed on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at The Willows of Bellevue.

Mrs. Moore was born in Lebanon, Indiana on March 28, 1934 to the now deceased Lora (Parish) and Otha Padgett. 

She was a 1952 graduate of Kirlin High School in Kirlin, Indiana. 

Delores Imogene was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Bellevue. She loved to bake, cook and read cookbooks. Her family was especially special to her, babies being the apple of her eye. 

On June 2, 1952, she married Robert S. Moore. He, along with their three daughters, Teresa (Joel) Link of Bellevue; Diana (John) Kosta of Republic and Connie (David) Kowaleski of Bellevue survive. Six grandchildren: Travis (Bobbi) Bryant; Toni (Mike) Williams; Chad (Melissa) O'Neil; Shannon (Nick) Clapp; Ryan (Lindsey) Kowaleski and Ashley (Cliff) Owens; four step-grandchildren: Jake (Nicole) Link; Ashley Misinec; Tiffanie (Chris) Striker; Kendra Kosta; eleven great grandchildren, and several step great grandchildren survive as well.  Honorary family: Emma K. Wagner; Michele Widman & family; and Bob & Denise Putnam & family also survive.

Mrs. Moore was the last of seven children. Her brother and sisters, Crystal Greene; Flora Moore; Ivan Padgett; Lucille Hodges; Alta Harman and Ilo Keeney are all deceased.  She was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Thomas Bryant.

Visitation will be on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the service at Noon, will all be held at Providence Baptist Church, Bellevue. The Rev. Dan Duffy will officiate, with burial in York Chapel Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to The Willows or ProMedica Hospice or Providence Baptist Church.
