Dorothy J. Bogner, 96, of Clyde, died Saturday, October 2, 2021 at her home.
She was born September 16, 1925 in Willard to Alphonsus & Lucille (Bauman) Eberly. She graduated from Willard High School and then from St. Vincent's School of Nursing in Toledo. She worked as an RN for the Bellevue Hospital, Memorial Hospital in Sandusky, and then Arbors in Clyde. Her faith was an important part of her life. While she lived in Bellevue, she was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception Church. After she moved to Clyde, she belonged to St. Mary Catholic Church.
On August 6, 1946 she married Herbert F. Bogner. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Survivors include their children: Susan (Dan) Goodwin of Butler, Ohio; Diane (Ned) Wollenslegel of Stevensville, Michigan; Pat (Mike) Rose of Tiffin; and Terry (Marla) Bogner of Clyde; seven grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Jane Bogner in 2017 and two brothers.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Bellevue.
Memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
