Douglas W. Auck

Douglas W. Auck, 67, of Bellevue, died on Saturday, August 19,2023. 

He was born in Bucyrus on September 22, 1955 to Martha (Feichtner) and Weldon Auck.

Doug was a graduate of Buckeye Central/Pioneer Joint Vocational Schools in carpentry in 1973.

He married Robyn Murphy on June 12, 1976. Robyn died on May 18, 2023.

Doug enjoyed traveling and was a superb woodworker.

After over 40 years at the former, Central Soya, he retired.

Survivors include his father, Weldon in New Washington; and siblings, Larry Auck of Chatfield; Steve a. Auck of Bloomville; Connie S. (Mike) Smith of Tiro; Bonnie L. (Karl "Bud") Maul of New Washington and Roger (Judy) Auck of Tiro. Also, eleven nieces and nephews, along with 16 great nieces and nephews, and Robyn's sister, Judeena Chase of Pataskala and her brother, Rev. Robert (Rita) Murphy of New Vienna survive. 

Mr. Auck was preceded in death by his mother, a sister, Mary Ann Zeiter and sister-in-law, Donna Auck.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 9:00 am until the service at 11:00 am at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio.

Burial will be in Bellevue City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Gideons or Fish & Loaves or the Donor's Choice.
