Edward L. Daniel, 65, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 15, 2022. Ed was born in Fremont on February 25, 1956, to the now deceased Mary (Watruba) and Howard Daniel.
He was a 1974 graduate of Clyde High School, and confirmed at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clyde. He retired after 41 years at the now Quality Steel Corporation in Fremont in 2017.
Ed loved life and always went by the philosophy, "Livin' the dream." He enjoyed working as a dump truck driver after retirement. He loved spending time with his friends, his family, and loving life with his fiancé, Susan. He enjoyed holidays especially Halloween and Christmas. He also loved woodworking, lake life, and travel.
He was a member of the Moose, VFW, and Eagles, all in Clyde. He was also a member of the United Steel Workers.
He will be dearly missed by his two sons, Cole (Sarah) Daniel of Bellevue and Christopher (Lindsay) Daniel of Green Springs; his sister, Sue (Dennis) Dirlam of Clyde; his fiancé, Susan DelGarbino of Clyde and six grandchildren, Casen, Canaan, Cash, Colbyn, Reese, and Cohen.
Visitation will be held at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A brief prayer service will begin at 7:00 pm by Deacon Jose Zamora. A celebration of life will follow at the Clyde Moose Lodge.
Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation or Nicholas Darr Scholarship or Mooseheart charities in Ed's honor.
