Elsie M. Queen, 82, of Kansas died at her home in Kansas on Thursday, January 20,2022.
Elsie was born in Maynardville, Tennessee on June 1,1939 to Lucille (Keck) and Charles Hendrix.
Mrs. Queen liked to walk the flea markets, go fishing, and can anything she could! Her favorite times were spent with her family.
Elsie was an only child, but she was mother to nine. Eight of them survive her; Delores "DeeDee" Worrell of Bryan, Ohio; Donna Marie Carter of Clyde; William C. (Karen) Worrell of Green springs; timothy Smallwood of Green springs; Marsha (Andrew) Stevenson McMillan of Brookville, Florida; Janice (Jack) Wetzel of Toledo; David Stevenson of Kansas, Ohio and Richard (Melissa) Worrell of Green Springs. Her special friend, Edward Wheeler survives in Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Darlene Worrell, her husband, Richard Lee Queen and the father of her children, Clayton Leon Worrell.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 25,2022 at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio from Noon until 2:00pm with Pastor Todd Cunard officiating. Burial will be in Bellevue Cemetery.
