Emma J (Kelly) Murphy

Emma J. Murphy, 89, of Clyde, died on Monday, October 12, 2020 at The Willows in Bellevue.

Mrs. Murphy was born in Hookersville, West Virginia on August 20, 1931.

She had retired from the former Eaton Controls in Fremont. 

Emma was able to conquer any project that came her way. She enjoyed being busy.

On March 20, 1948, she married Clifford Murphy. He preceded her in death on September 10, 2014.

Survivors include their daughter, Sada (David Sr.) Laurendeau of Clyde and their son, Claude Murphy of Clyde. Five grandchildren, David Jr. (Charity) Laurendeau; Amy Laurendeau (Chris Lal); Royce Laurendeau; Brandi Skipper (Scott) and Deneil Sanchez (Carlos). Also surviving are great grandchildren.

Emma was preceded in death by a son, Clifford Henry Murphy in 1976.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 3:00pm at McPherson Cemetery.
