Evelyn Mae (Moyer) Pocock Coup, 92, formerly of Bellevue, died at the home of her daughter in Toledo, on Wednesday, March 30,2022.
Evelyn was born in Bellevue on May 2,1929 to the now deceased Emma (Shaffer) and Ward Ray Moyer.
She graduated from the former York High School in 1947.
For 22 years, Mrs. Coup was a school bus driver for Bellevue City Schools, retiring in July 1991.
Mrs. Coup was a long- time member of the Fremont Baptist Temple. Formerly, she was a member of the Clyde Rosettes Grandmothers Club.
On March 23,1950, she married Rollin Pocock. He preceded her in death on November 25,1965. On October 1, 1972, Mrs. Pocock married Emerson Coup, he preceded her in death on November 5, 1989. Two daughter, Linda Ann Pocock Napier and infant Lauran Ann Pocock, along with a grandson, Bradley Pocock are also deceased.
Survivors include daughter, Connie L. Scroggs of Toledo and sons, Ronald E. (Mary Jacqueline) Pocock and John M. (Tami) Pocock, all of Bellevue. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren survive as well.
Mrs. Coup was the last of her siblings. Margaret Stimson Ward, Leon Ray Moyer, Carl S. Moyer and Rober L. Moyer are all deceased.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 7,2022 from 9:30 am until the service at 11:00 am at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue, Ohio. Rev. Gary Click will officiate with burial in York Chapel Cemetery.
