Francis "Fritz" Stockmaster Obituary

Francis "Fritz" Stockmaster, 73, of Bellevue, died Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania.

He was born May 3, 1949 in Bellevue to Herman L. & Stella (Didion) Stockmaster. He graduated from Bellevue High School and served our country in the US Army during the VietNam War.  Fritz worked at the Whirlpool Corp as a press operator until his retirement.  He collected antiques, especially cars and tractors.
 
Fritz is survived by his daughter, Taylor Stockmaster of Port Clinton; brother, Harold Stockmaster of Bellevue; sister, Virginia Ruffing of Attica; and nieces and nephews.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Caleb Stockmaster in 2020; sister, Dorothy (Daryl) Hossler; and sister-in-law, Sandra Stockmaster.
 
Visitation will be 9:30-10:30am Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue. Due to painting at St. Gaspar del Bufalo, his funeral mass will be held 11:00am Tuesday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 320 Stump Pike Road, Attica, Ohio 44807 with Rev. Joseph Joseph officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.  Military graveside services will be provided by the Bellevue VFW, American Legion, and Marine Corps League. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
