Gary Murray Obituary
Gary E. Murray, 82, of Bellevue, died Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Bellevue Care Center.
He was born January 26, 1940 in Summersville, West Virginia to Edgar R. & Opal (Nicholson) Murray. Gary graduated from Nichols County High School and worked 48 years for Johnson Furnace & Armstrong.
On September 4, 1960 he married Janet S. (Hall) Murray. She preceded him in death on July 18, 2020.
Survivors include their sons: Michael (Marty) Murray of Bellevue; Tim (Suzie) Murray of Fostoria; Gary Murray of Bellevue; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his daughter, Melinda Martin; and his sister, Gail Summers.
Visitation will be 5:00-7:00pm Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Auxter Funeral Home, 1105 Castalia St., Bellevue. Graveside services will be held 11:00am Thursday, June 30 at Bellevue City Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Stein Hospice.
