Glenna F. (Long) Weaver

Glenna F. Weaver, 82, of rural Bellevue, died at her home on Sunday, March 6,2022.

Mrs. Weaver was born in Dutch Valley, Tennessee on March 19,1939 to the now deceased Rosa (Jones) and John Long.

She moved to this area in the 1950's. 

On December 23, 1956, Glenna married Franklin Weaver. He preceded her in death on June 12,2007.

Glenna was a member of York Chapel Church. She enjoyed reading, working puzzles and Find A Word, as well as playing the guitar.

Survivors include five children, James (Tammy) Weaver of Bellevue; Roger (Tamara) Weaver of Green Springs; Gena (Ricky) Seeber, Janet (Allen) Dunn and John Weaver, all of Bellevue. Thirteen grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, along with her sister, Shelby Sexton of Caryville, Tennessee also survive.

Mrs. Weaver was preceded in death by two brothers, John Long, Raymond Long and sister, Dolly Mae Long.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 10,2022 from 2-4 and 6-8:00 pm at York Chapel Church. The funeral will be held at the church on Friday, March 11,2022 at 11:00 am with Paster Calvin Robinson officiating. Burial will be in York Chapel Cemetery.
