Grant Collier Obituary

Grant M. Collier, 37, of Sandusky, died Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

He was born October 4, 1984 in Bay City, Michigan to Terry & Linda (VanWert) Collier.  Grant graduated from Garber High School in Essexville, Michigan, then went on to further his education and received his bachelor's degree in Crop & Soil Science from Michigan State University.  Recently he received his master's degree in Agricultural Science from The Ohio State University.  He was a regional sales manager and agronomist for Stine Seed Company.

Grant loved being outdoors, whether it was farming, fishing, hunting, Cedar Point, or spending time with his family.  His passion for farming began at a very young age.  He loved working on the family farm and running the roadside stand before heading to college.  He enjoyed spending time with his family at the "Big Creek Ranch" in Au Gres, Michigan. Grant was cheering for the Michigan State Spartans whenever he had a chance.  Grant had strong Christian values, was a hard worker who was generous, kind, and fun-loving.  He could light up a room with his sense of humor and wit.  Above all, he was a dedicated family man.  He loved being a dad and playing with his children.

Grant is survived by his wife, Sarah (Cullen), whom he married April 29, 2017.  Also surviving are their three children:  Cora, Camden, Waylon; his parents, Terry & Linda Collier of Essexville, Michigan; his in-laws, John & Jill Cullen of Port Clinton; siblings: Jeffrey (Yolanda) Collier; Kevin (Katie) Collier; Jill (Matthew) Brunette; brother-in-law, Christian (Elise) Cullen; sister-in-law, Rachel (Paul) Driskell; and ten nieces & nephews.
