Gregory Alan Hatfield, 55, of Green Springs, died at his home on Friday, May 6,2022 following a battle with cancer.
Greg was born on June 16, 1966 to Frances (Miller) and Paul Hatfield. He was a 1983 graduate of Clyde High School.
Mr. Hatfield was a maintance mechanic at Alkon prior to his illness.
He loved to ride his Harley, watch Buckeye and Steeler football, along with NASCAR. Also he liked to fish and hunt, along with being there to help his friends with their various projects. Being a jack of all trades, Greg was busy helping out all the time. His favorite activity was being with his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he dearly loved.
On July 13, 2012, he married the former Michelle Heath. She, along with his son, Gunner “Bigun” Hatfield of Green Springs and Michelle’s children, William Ontko of Clarksville, Tennessee and Jessica (Jesse) Fox of Fremont survive. Three grandchildren, Zoey “Zoebug” Ontko; Zaden “Big Biz” Ontko and Dawson “Double D” Fox ,as well as Greg’s siblings, Stan (Chris) Holmes of Clyde; Marilyn Hunt of Springfield, Illinois and Steven (Judi) Holmes of Eloree, South Carolina survive. His mother-in-law, Pamela (David) Guilory of Wilson, Louisiana and father-in-law, William "Skip" Heath of Kansas, Oklahoma also survive. There are numerous in-laws and nieces and nephews that survive as well.
Greg was preceded in death by a nephew, Bruce Holmes, and a brother-in-law Herb Hunt, along with a brother-in-law, Steven Hunt.
There will be no services for Greg, as he requested.
Memorials may be made to pancreatic cancer.
