Helena Sue Trusdle, 63, of Clyde, died at her home on Monday, October 4, 2021.
Sue was born in Hicksville, Ohio on December 2, 1957 to the now deceased Helen (Hissong) and Glenn "Bill" Mathes.
She was a 1975 graduate of Stryker High School.
Mrs. Trusdle enjoyed many kinds of crafts and home decorating. She had liked to camp, kike and travel. Her cooking will be remembered for her love of chocolate and sweets.
On September 30, 1989, she married David P. Trusdle. He survives, along with their son, Joel Trusdle of Bellevue and a daughter Emily (Christopher) Petronella. Two grandchildren, Lauren Petronella and Matthew Petronella survive also. Her brothers and sisters, Glenna Gessner of Washington; Janet (Jerry) Fenner of Bryan, Ohio; Gary (Susie) Mathes of Belleville; Ted (Anita) Mathes of Bryan; Cathie (Fred) Schubert and Margaret (Jim) Hohenberger all of Sherwood, Ohio and "Mid" (Richard) Emmelhainz of Fort Wayne, Indiana survive as well.
Sue was a homemaker and had been the secretary for David Trusdle Custom Woodworking.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 10:00 am until the service at 11:30 am at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
