Ida Mae Legg, 84, of Clyde, unexpectedly died at her home, on Saturday, December 26, 2020.
Ida was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on April 5, 1936 to the now deceased Julius and Eva Elizabeth (Dorn) Langer.
Mrs. Legg graduated from Carnegie High School in 1954.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Clyde, where she had been a active member. Belonging to a circle, helping with the phone prayer chain, and working in the kitchen. She also was a active member of the Clyde VFW Auxiliary and when it was allowed, visiting persons in the nursing homes.
On August 25, 1956, she married Bruce I. Legg. He preceded her in death on September 5, 2014.
Their children, Bruce i. Legg, Jr (Cheryl Duet of Louisiana; Brenda Bailey of Clyde and Brian (Tami) Legg of Fremont survive. Seven grandchildren, Joshua (Meghan) Legg; Samantha (Marcus) Ahle; Dakota Legg; Heather Bailey (Christopher, her fiancee; Scott Bailey (Carissa, his fiancee;); Bryan Bailey and Devin Legg also survive. Fourteen great grandchildren survive as well.
A private family time will be held, due to the Covid 19 health concerns, and then a public graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 am at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
Memorials may be made, if desired to the Clyde VFW in Ida's memory.
