Jacqueline "Jackie" (Overmyer) Cunningham

Jacqueline "Jackie" Cunningham, 87, of Clyde, died at The Willows of Bellevue, on Friday, October 30,2020.

Jackie was born in Oak Harbor on May 30, 1933 to the now deceased Lester "Jim" and Alice (Everett) Overmyer.

She graduated from Fremont Ross High School in 1951, where she had participated in basketball. She also liked softball.

Mrs. Cunningham was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, where she had once served on the worship board and memorial committee. 

In January of 1989, she retired from Whirlpool Corp in Clyde, where she had been the employee relations coordinator.

On January 19, 1952, she married Richard Cunningham. He preceded her in death on August 31, 2001.

Survivors include two sons, Scott (Janet Beery) Cunningham of Chillicothe; and Larry (Deb) Cunningham of Clyde. Two grandchildren, Adam (Jackie) Cunningham and Aimee Cunningham. One sister, Lois (Bruce) Hanny of Oak Harbor also survive. Her sister-in-law, Helen Overmyer survives as well.

Jackie was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Gross and two brother, Jim Overmyer and Dick Overmyer. 

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at 11:00 am, with visitation one hour prior to the service, at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made, if desired, to St. Paul Lutheran Church or the American Heart Association.
