Jeannie P. Long, 65 of Vickery, died at her home on July 18, 2021.
Jeannie was born in Fremont on May 3, 1956 to Evelyn (Young) and James H. Pocock.
She attended Clyde Schools. Recently, she retired from Crown Battery after working there for many years.
Mrs. Long liked a bargain, so she enjoyed flea markets and garage sales immensely! She also liked cards, games and Bingo.
Jeannie was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd A. Long. Their two children survive, Bryan (Ashley Maynard) Long of Fremont and Tracy Long (fiance' Cecil Venable) of Vickery. Also surviving are Floyd's children, Jaime (Brenton) Corbin , Joseph Long all of Clyde and Kenneth (Amy) Long, of Fremont. Thirteen grandchildren: Myrissa Long, Cameron Long, Alexander Long; Douglas Roach, Dominick Hampton, Courtney Hampton, Xavior Corbin, Laynee Corbin, Andriana Corbin, Zachary Long, Robert Nitsche, Jessica Oakleaf and Nathaniel Long survive as do thirteen great grandchildren. Her siblings, James Pocock, Jr. in Florida, Jerry (Jeri) Pocock of Clyde; Karen Keegan of Green Springs and Annie (Doug) Keeton of Rocky Ridge, Ohio.
Mrs. Long was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Mowery and three brothers, Danny, David, Howard Pocock.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 3-6:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Thursday, at the funeral home at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery.
