Julie A. (Hill) Whitaker

Julie A. Whitaker, 55, of Clyde, died at Heritage Village of Clyde on Monday, November 19,2018.

Julie was born in Lancaster, Ohio on October 9, 1963 to Richard and Geraldine (Bennett) Hill. She was a member of the 1983 graduating class of Clyde High School, having been at Vanguard for her last two years.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde. Julie loved to camp, where she was always happy to be out in nature enjoying flowers being involved with horticulture. In the wintertime, she liked to make grave blankets.

One of her indoor interest was going to the casino, but she really liked Bingo, too.

Three children survive, Robert, and his fiancé', Natalie Lowe, Whitaker of Sunbury, Ohio; Adam and Janie Whitaker of Clyde and Ashley Whitaker and her friend Mac Wilkerson of Clyde. Two grandsons, Jack Whitaker and Bo Whitaker, along with her mother, Geraldine Hill of Clyde. Eight siblings, Mary (David) Parkhurst of Clyde; Debora (Randy) Stout of Aurora, Ohio; Rick (Peggy) Hill of Fremont; Perry (Jennifer) Hill, Brenda Hill, Jeffrey Hill and Phillip Hill all of Clyde and Kimberly (Don) Young of Bettsville also survive.

Julie was preceded in death by her father, Richard and a grandchild.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 2-5:00 pm with prayers at 1:30 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The family will lead the Rosary at 5:00 pm at the funeral home. The funeral mass will be on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, Clyde. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery.
