Kenneth Cagle Obituary

Kenneth Ray Cagle, 83, of Clyde, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, December 20,2023.

Ken was born in Calman, Alabama on December 11, 1940 to the now deceased Lois (Miller) and Elbert Cagle.

He was a proud member of The United States Marine Corps, serving during the Viet Nam War. Now Ken was the Chaplin and an officer of the Clyde VFW Post.

"Bama" was a member of the Church of Christ-Butternut Ridge. 

He loved to hunt and fish and watch NASCAR. His alias was "Rooster Cogburn" and was known to some under that name.

Ken retired as a truck driver and consultant. Formerly, he had been an insurance salesman.

Survivors include his brother, Gary Cagle, two nephews, Mike Cagle and Chad Cagle, two nieces, Tany and Renee. His sister-in-law, Bonnie Cagle survives as well.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Don Cagle.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 from 2:00pm-5:00pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, December 28,2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Clyde VFW and American Legion.
