Larry W. Gill

Larry W. Gill, 76, of Clyde, died at The Willows of Bellevue on Friday, August 28, 2020.

Larry was born on September 5, 1943 in Fremont to Carl R. and Virginia (Nickels) Gill.

He graduated from Clyde High School in 1961.

For many years he worked with his father and brother at C.R. Gill Construction. He and Carl R. II, owned the business together before retiring.

Mr. Gill enjoyed NASCAR and Sprint car racing.

Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly K. (George) Brandon of Clyde and a son, Darin W. Gill of Tiffin. Six grandchildren, Jennifer (Matt) Thomas; Jessica Whitehead (Josh Moore); Alex Brandon and Kyle Brandon; Staci (Tom) Tinnel and Joshua W. Boyton. Also two brothers, Kenny (Gerri) Gill of Port Clinton; Carl Robert II "Buddy" (Carol) Gill of Clyde and a sister, Ruth (Sam) Awad of Fremont. 

Larry was preceded in death by a son, Larry W. Gill, Jr. in 1963 and his parents.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at 10:30 am at McPherson Cemetery.
