Larry Lee Sieger, 71, of Clyde, died at The Gardens of Clyde, with his family at his side, on Tuesday, May 25, 2021.
Larry was born on December 21, 1949 in Sandusky County to the now deceased Anna (Runion) and Floyd Sieger.
He was a member of the 1968 graduating class of Clyde High School. After graduating, he served in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War.
For many years he was employed at A Shulman in Bellevue prior to retirement.
Larry was a member of Clyde Nazarene Church. He was an avid Harley man and had enjoyed his bike.
Survivors include a son, Ken (Heather) Sieger of Port Clinton; a daughter, Kelly Batesole of Clyde and seven grandchildren, Kody;Spencer;Faith;Seth; Jonathan; Brook and James. Also surviving are two great grandsons, Abel and Kai. Step daughters, Lisa and Carie and Kristen and step grandchildren, Josh and Jessica survive as well. Three siblings, James (Brenda) Sieger; Connie (Paul) Baker and Judy (Fred) Oberdorf all of Clyde.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia "Genny" McCary, whom he married on January 6, 1968, on November 11, 1975. Also two brothers, Don Runion and Ronnie Runion are deceased.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 4:00 pm-6:00pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main Clyde, Ohio 43410. The funeral will be at 10:30 am at the funeral home on Friday, May 28, 2021. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, Clyde with military rites provided by the Clyde VFW and American Legion.
Memorials may be made to a Veteran's Charity of the donor's choice.
