Lisa S. (Beckett) Baker

Lisa S. Baker, 54, of Clyde passed away on Saturday, March 26,2022, losing her battle to cancer.

Lisa was born in Bellevue on January 6,1968.

She was a member of the 1986 graduating class of Clyde High School. Also, Lisa was a member of Grace Community Church in Fremont. 

A natural nurturer, Lisa was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was capable of giving and receiving love. Her favorite times were spent camping, taking walks and being close to any body of water. Thus, her last days were happily spent at Myrtle Beach with her much cherished family.

She had worked at the Bellevue Hospital prior to her illness.

On July 11, 1987, she married the boy next door, Wendell S. Baker. He, along with their daughters, Lindsey (Troy) Wetzel of Clyde and Lauren (Michael) Bodziony of Oregon, Ohio survive. Two grandchildren, Trey and Taelyn Wetzel survive as well. A third grandchild, Jaxson Michael Bodziony will join the family in July 2022. Lisa's sister, Marsha (Dave) Ritter survives in Troy. Her in-laws, Linda and Wendell R. Baker of Clyde and niece and nephew, Adam (Mollie) Ritter, Kristin (Bruce) Schoen; brother-in-law Ted (Jodi) Baker; and sisters-in-law, Tracey Baker and Nicky Baker (James Kohlenberg) also survive. Many Baker nieces and nephews survive as well.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Rosemary (Bullard) and Loy Richard Beckett.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 3,2022 from 2-5:00pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde, Ohio. The funeral will be on Monday, April 4,2022 at 10:30 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.
