Louise (Love) Whitaker Ladd, 68 of Bellevue, died Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.
She was born January 22, 1954 in Fremont to George & Della May (Sparks) Love. Louise graduated from Clyde High School in 1973. Throughout her working career, she owned multiple businesses including The Hot Dog Corner in the Sandusky Mall as well as being a jeweler. She was a member of Grace Community Church in Fremont. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, and was a jack-of-all-trades. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her grandchildren.
On May 23, 2006 she married Randell Ladd and he survives in Bellevue. Also surviving are her children: Tracy (Timothy) Frank of Seymour, Tennessee; Stephanie (Matt) Petit of Doylestown, Ohio; and Cheryl (Brian) Farris of Bellevue; John (Crystal) Ladd of Lawton, Oklahoma; Dustin Ladd of Monroeville; Renae (Benjamin) Dull of Brookville, Ohio; and Randell (Carissa) Ladd of Monroeville; grandchildren: Audrey Frank; Macy, Mia, Rory, Donovan Petit; Harleigh (Seth) Keegan; Maddy Norman; Bowen and Kaylee Farris; Coltin and Gavin Ladd; Ayden Ladd; Brycen and Coraline Dull; Alania & Aaleigh Ladd; Kiera Forney; Blake, Mia, Aubrey Klavinger; great-grandchildren: Jax, Waylon, Lincoln Keegan; siblings: Oklea Guerrero of Gibsonburg; Roxanne (Jeff) Dewese of Bowling Green; George (Darlene) Love of Fremont; Clifford (Jerry) Love of Jerry City, Ohio; Mary Ellen Shaffer of Bellevue; brother-in-law, Tom (Tammy) Whitaker; and sister-in-law, Vickie Whitaker; and many nieces and nephews, including Josh Desautels.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roscoe Love; sister, Christine Whitaker; niece, Theresa Merritt; nephew, James Love; former mother-in-law, Mary Whitaker; brothers-in-law, Dave Whitaker and Gene Whitaker; and sisters-in-law, Ruth Whitaker and Betty Parman.
Visitation will be 3:00-7:00pm Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue. Additional visitation will be 10:00-11:00am Saturday, July 2 at Grace Community Church, 900 Smith Road, Fremont. Her funeral service will be 11:00am Saturday, July 2 at the church with Rev.
