Lucinda Zerman Durst Obituary

Lucinda Cindy "Boo" Zerman Durst, 65. of Cardington, formerly of Clyde, died at Marion General Hospital on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

Mrs. Durst was born in Fremont on November 12, 1956 to Esther Ruth (Miller) James Zerman, Sr. Her parents are deceased.

Cindy was a member of the 1975 Port Clinton High School. She was a member of the teamsters, because she was a car hauler for Cassens and then Allied prior to her retirement.

Cindy was loving and giving to all, especially her grandchildren, whom she loved and supported entirely. She was wonderful at being a doer of many things, craft and decorating. She thought of others before she thought of herself, which was shown in her selflessness with her family and friends. Gardening, flowers and camping were among her hobbies.

Cindy is survived by her husband, David D. Durst and children, Rocky (Jessica Garrard) Ranker of Caledonia; Amanda (Aaron Solomon) Barrick of Tiffin; Joshua (Jenn Bishoff) Ranker of Marblehead and Abby Skaggs of Bucyrus. Grandchildren, Zach, Makenna, Seth; Taytum; Samantha, Riley; Taylor, Landon; Gayla, Kiara, Kaden also survive. A great grandchild, Eleanor, along with her sisters, Darlene Zerman of Port Clinton and Esther Zerman of Wakeman survive as well.

Cindy was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Jack Zerman and two sisters, Sandy Collins and Christine Stern.
